EUBOF workshop - Smart Contracts, March 10th, 2022

Smart contracts are simply programs stored on a blockchain that run when predetermined conditions are met. They typically are used to automate the execution of an agreement so that all participants can be immediately certain of the outcome, without any intermediary’s involvement or time loss. Blockchain for Social Impact

The EU Blockchain Observatory, in collaboration with INATBA and IOTA hosted a workshop on December 16th 2021, to discuss how blockchain can
- help improve sustainability,
- support climate action
- use DLT for social impact.

The workshop was honoured to include more than 10 distinguished presenters and panelists and showcase examples of good and sustainable blockchain use cases.
